Visualisation of Evolution

Die Molekularbiologie bildete die Grundlage für eine Sammlung von Zeichnungen und Installationen aus 20 Jahren künstlerischer Praxis und künstlerischer Perspektive. Die erweiterte Synthese in der theoretischen Biologie hat die Arbeit der Künstlerin Petra Maitz inspiriert. Mit ihren Zeichnungen hat Maitz eine umfassende Hypothese des wortwörtlichen chemischen Wandels aufgestellt und zeigt Visualisierungen der Evolution in einem kulturellen Kontext.

Molecular biology provided the basis for a collection of drawings and installations from 20 years of artistic practice and artistic perspective. The Extended synthesis in theoretical biology has inspired the work of artist Petra Maitz. Through her drawings Maitz has defined a comprehensive hypothesis of the wordly chemistry change, showing visualisations of evolution in a cultural context.
